About Jamie Davis
Jamie Davis was born January 23, 1983 -in Pontiac, MI. She
attended Waterford Kettering High School where she realized that the life of an artist was her destiny,
but she never embraced the "learning" of art in a classroom.
Instead of going to college, Jamie decided to paint. She has been painting for over 10 years now,
and has participated in many shows and exhibitions along the way. She currently resides in Pontiac, MI with
her husband and son.
In May of 2009 Jamie became the proud mother of her little boy, Cassius Hunter Kuchon. Since then she has
really focused in on her art, and she displayed her first solo exhbition at the Orion Art Center in August, 2009.
Additionally, she has scheduled yet another solo show at Workfly in Pontiac -January 23, 2010- titled twenty three, where
she will show 23 never-before-seen paintings that she has completed since August, 2009.
Jamie has been seriously influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jonathan Adler, Betsey Johnson and Ellen Von Unwerth.
